LEAD AGENCY:  East County Advanced Water Purification Joint Powers Authority, 9300 Fanita Parkway, Santee, CA 92071

Notice is hereby given that the East County Advanced Water Purification (East County AWP) Joint Powers Authority (JPA), as the lead agency under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), will conduct a public hearing on July 21, 2022 beginning at 2:00 pm to receive comments on the Final Subsequent Mitigated Negative Declaration (MND) and a Mitigation Monitoring and Reporting Program (MMRP) for the East County AWP Project (Project).

The JPA Board of Directors will consider all comments to the Final Subsequent MND at the public hearing. 

Members of the public may provide live comment during the public hearing by registering for the webinar and clicking the “hand raise” icon within the meeting platform.  When it is your turn to speak you will be called on to unmute.  

Written comments may be submitted by one of the following methods:

  • MAIL TO: East County AWP JPA, Board Secretary, P.O. Box 719003, Santee, CA 92072-9003; or
  • DELIVERED TO: Padre Dam’s office at 9300 Fanita Parkway in Santee, ATTN: Board Secretary; or

All written comments must be received prior to the public hearing. At the conclusion of the public hearing the Board will consider adopting the Final Subsequent MND and MMRP and approving the Project Modifications.
