What You Need to Know: Pipeline Construction on Mast Boulevard

Mast Blvd near Magnolia

The New Year means continued construction on the East County AWP Program. On January 2nd, work began along Mast Boulevard near Magnolia Avenue in Santee.

Crews are currently digging trenches and installing purified water pipeline. This work will continue west toward Fanita Parkway as construction moves along.

If you’re in the area, you can expect reduced travel lanes in addition to traffic control and flagging. At times, full road closures with detours may be put into place. Access to homes and businesses on Mast Boulevard will be maintained. Drinking water service will not be impacted. There may be noise from drilling, trucks and other construction activities Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 4 pm. Please allow extra time for your commute and be sure to use caution around the work zone.

This mailer recently went out to nearby residents and businesses. Thank you for your patience during this ongoing work.
